Bike Switzerland is a bicycle tour company, but we also have a small shop where we do sales, servicing and rentals of road bikes.
This position will require a flexible person who is comfortable with menial tasks such as cleaning bikes and sorting equipment, as well as more demanding work building up and servicing premium road bikes.
We’re looking for a mechanic with at least 2 years of sales and service experience. Although you’ll spend most of your time in the workshop, the applicant should also be prepared to deal face-to-face with clients for sales and/or servicing.
This is a full-time position from early/mid-March until the end of October. From November, our shop closes for four months.
In addition to the skills listed in the job description, successful applicants will be at least 24 years .
Our shop caters to the upscale expatriate community in Geneva and so French is not required, but it would be a definite advantage.
Successful applicants must appear clean-cut and have a serious interest in road cycling themselves.
