COVID INFORMATION

The Covid-19 virus has made the last years stressful and many people are therefore still hesitant to travel for fear of being stranded or losing out. Bike Switzerland has decided to make this aspect of your trip as uncomplicated as possible by updating our cancellation policy.

  • In the event of COVID related travel restrictions that prohibit you from coming to Switzerland, we will provide you with a full refund up to 15-days before Day One of your trip minus 3% if paid by credit card. If you prefer, we can credit the entire amount towards a future trip.

Other COVID-related information

According to the Swiss authorities (November, 2021), If you are fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 6 months, you only need to show an entry form and your COVID certificate on arrival in Switzerland. You are exempt from the test requirement.

As of August, there were no countries on Switzerland’s RED list. That said, most travellers will be required to show proof of vaccination.

In order to stay at hotels and eat in restaurants, you’ll need to show a valid, Swiss-recognized COVID passport or a Swiss Covid Passport.

Perhaps you will be returning to a country that requires you to take a COVID test before returning ? No worries, there are hundreds of testing facilities in Switzerland and we’d be happy to assist you with locating one. Of course, this will depend on where you are 48-72 hours before your departure.
